Board of Supervisors of the European Securities and Markets Authority reappointed Anneli Tuominen as its Vice Chair. Ms. Tuominen, who is the Director-General of the Finnish Finanssivalvonta, will serve a further 2½ year term effective immediately.

Anneli has made an enormous contribution to ESMA’s work, both as vice-chair and as one of ESMA’s longest serving members of the Board of Supervisors. I look forward to continuing our close collaboration in the years ahead as the organisation faces new challenges.”
