Volume of retail trade up by 0.1% in euro area


In February 2018 compared with January 2018, the seasonally adjusted volume of retail trade increased by 0.1% in the euro area (EA19) and by 0.2% in the EU28, according to estimates from Eurostat.

In January, the retail trade volume fell by 0.3% in the euro area and remained unchanged in the EU28. In February 2018 compared with February 2017, the calendar adjusted retail sales index increased by 1.8% in the euro area and by 2.0% in the EU28.
