SEPA Testing Framework

SEPA released a testing framework that establishes the testing and implementation principles, a common set of testing terminology, approaches and testing scenarios for the provision and operation of the SEPA Direct Debit and SEPA Credit Transfer payment instruments.

The SEPA Testing Framework (STF) is issued by the European Payments Council (EPC) and establishes the testing and implementation principles, common set of testing terminology, approaches, and testing scenarios for the provision and operation of Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) payment instruments, namely SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) and SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT). It is exclusively based on the SEPA Direct Debit and SEPA Credit Transfer Rulebooks v2.2, their corresponding Implementation Guidelines, the SEPA Data Model and the UNIFI (ISO20022) XML standard. The STF therefore creates the basis for a seamless interoperability between Participants and any intermediary parties that join the SEPA Schemes.
