“The only way to achieve this objective is to have sufficient progress on the issues that have been identified as necessary for an orderly withdrawal of the UK,” such as Britain’s exit bill, the letter, dated October 16, says.
	The letter urges the UK to make further proposals on the bill, citizen’s rights, and the Irish border, saying also that businesses “count on the EU to constructively receive these proposals once they are presented.”
	The group sent the letter ahead of a summit in Brussels in Thursday and Friday at which leaders will discuss progress in the Brexit talks. “We need transitional arrangements to allow companies enough time to prepare,” the letter says. [...]
