Paul Goldschmidt:

 works as an independent consultant based in Brussels.  An expert in investment banking, as well as European financial affairs, Paul is a member of the European League for Economic Cooperation and the Advisory Board of the Thomas More Institute. Until his retirement Paul worked for ten years in Luxembourg as Director of the Financial Operations Service of the European Commission.  Prior to that he was with Goldman Sachs in New York and London for twenty-three years and spent seven years as a financial consultant based in Monaco.  Born in Brussels he obtained an MBA from Solvay Business School. Paul is the author of numerous reports including the recent ‘High Level Committee on A New Financial Architecture’.  Paul is a fluent English and French speaker and conversant in German.
