EFRAG draft letter on IAS 24 'Relationships with the State'

EFRAG disagrees to extend the definition beyond that proposed in the previous ED and identifies problems in practice that may arise from the definition of a ‘state’.

EFRAG has issued its draft comment letter on the Exposure Draft of proposed amendments to IAS 24 'Relationships with the State'.

 

EFRAG disagrees to extend the definition beyond that proposed in the previous ED and set out a number of examples of problems that may arise from the definition of a ‘state’ which will arise from its application in practice.

 

Deadline for comments is 6 March 2009.
