30 March 2017

Le Monde explained that for the moment, the consequences of Brexit may be much greater for Northern Ireland than for Scotland with an Irish reunification likely to become an issue in the future.

On Wednesday the London correspondent ofLe Monde responded to questions regarding Brexit which readers could send in online. The questions ranged from whether the UK's economy would be strong enough to withstand the world's economic superpowers, what would happen with migrants in Calais and whether the French would soon need visas to be able to travel to the UK. Questions about the future of Scotland and Northern Ireland were also raised.
