BIS: The fifth Quantitative Impact Study

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision published the updated workbook on the fifth Quantitative Impact Study. In May, the Committee discussed the schedules for national rule-making processes within member countries and decided to review the calibration of the revised Framework in spring 2006. It also announced that it will undertake a fifth Quantitative Impact Study. The templates of the QIS 5 workbook and accompanying instructions are based on the drafts published in July. In addition, a data quality questionnaire is provided.
