CEIOPS report on responses to regulatory treatment of 3rd country reinsurance undertakings


The report highlights the main findings to the questionnaire on the “Regulatory Treatment of Third Country Re-insurance Undertakings and on Existing Equivalence Procedures”.

The report highlights the main findings drawn from CEIOPS Members' responses to the questionnaire on the “Regulatory Treatment of Third Country Re-insurance Undertakings and on Existing Equivalence Procedures”.

 

The Questionnaire comprised three parts:

Ø       Part I posed questions on the regulatory treatment of third country reinsurance undertakings;

Ø       Part II examined existing equivalence procedures; and

Ø       Part III sought details of existing Memoranda of Understanding (‘MoU’).
