EFRAG launches public consultation on its proactive work

EFRAG’s work seeks to demonstrate thought leadership in Europe, promote discussion and debate on key financial reporting issues and influence the IASB’s thinking at early stage in the development of IFRS.

EFRAG has launched today a public consultation on its proposed work programme for its proactive work in Europe.
Françoise Flores, the Chairman of EFRAG commented: “Getting advice on, and directions for, our proactive work from our European constituents is a key step in ensuring that we are responsive to their needs.  This public consultation also reflects the high degree of transparency around the way EFRAG operates in serving the European public interest.  For those reasons, I would be grateful to our constituents to formulate their views on the nature and focus of our proactive activities.”
EFRAG’s proactive work seeks to: demonstrate thought leadership in Europe, promote discussion and debate on key financial reporting issues and influence the IASB’s thinking at early stage in the development of IFRS.
