Main results of the Council
The Council held a policy debate and adopted the Key Messages in fields of Employment, Social Policy and Gender Equality, intended to be reflected in the Spring European Council conclusions.
The Council has reached political agreement on the joint recommendation for 2008 on guidelines for the employment policies of the member states and on a resolution on the situation of persons with disabilities in the European Union.
