Insurance Europe has updated its extensive database with figures on the European insurance industry for the period 2004 to 2016. These new figures were also fed into InsuranceData, the user-friendly online data tool that visualises Insurance Europe’s data about the European insurance industry.
The wide variety of insurance industry data includes information on:

Non-life insurance

Insurers’ investment portfolio

Distribution channels
The updated figures can also be downloaded from the InsuranceData page, under the dropdown menu “European insurance industry database”.
An analysis of the 2016 figures is available in the latest edition of Insurance Europe’s European Insurance in Figures.
The data was provided by Insurance Europe's members (the members of the European Union — except Lithuania — Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Turkey).
