TheCityUK strongly supports the efforts being made in the US and the EU towards a Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership.
TheCityUK believes that this Partnership needs to be comprehensive, in the interests of growth and job creation on both sides of the Atlantic. It believes that negotiations towards it should cover all aspects of the transatlantic economy, and that nothing should be excluded from discussion.
For financial services, a really critical issue is the extent to which the TTIP can be made to enshrine procedures for building bridges between our different regulatory approaches now and in the future.
