Graham Bishop's Series of Lectures

Graham Bishop is a Professorial Research Fellow at the Global Policy Unit of the London Metropolitan University; he has a deep and detailed knowledge of the EU's journey into the new world of financial regulation.

Graham has created this series of on-line lectures to provide an ideal source of information about the origin of the drive towards greater union and the legislative mechanisms which have come into existence to enable the European Union to create Directives and Regulations.  The course covers the background to the EU’s Single Currency, Single Market and Financial Regulation.

The Lectures, run for approximately an hour each, and are split into three parts. Attendance at a complete lecture - and successfully in the test which follows it - would usually be accepted for 1.5 hours of CPD.

There is a link to a CPD assessment after the last part of each Lecture.  It allows those requiring CPD to take a short assessment of their understanding of key points explained in the Lecture (5 multiple-choice questions).  In most cases it will qualify for 1.5 hours of structured/verifiable CPD.  If you do not pass the exam, you may qualify for 1.5 hours of unstructured CPD - depending on your professional body's requirement.

Graham will develop his CPD products continuously to keep investment professionals up-to-date with relevant developments in the regulatory field.
