CESR released a statement on the potential actions European investors affected by the Madoff scandal can take and provides some guidance to those indirectly affected on how they might proceed.
CESR intends to help investors find the appropriate channel through which to address their concerns or complaints, and provides information on practical steps investors directly investing with Madoff should undertake.
The deadline by which claims should be filed with the US trustee is 4 March 2009.
